What Actually Changed
Two things changed, and both are on the surface: the name and the look. "Bolt VPN" is now "GLOBEX VPN," with a refreshed logo, updated colors, and a new online home at globexvpn.com. If you open the app after it updates, you will see the new name and icon in place of the old ones. That is the extent of the visible change.
Everything that makes the service work is untouched. The rebrand does not reset anything, move your data, or ask you to sign up again.
What Stayed Exactly the Same
Because this is a rename rather than a relaunch, the parts you rely on are identical:
- The same app. It is the very same application on Google Play — same package, same install. Existing users receive the new name as a normal app update, not a new download.
- The same account and subscription. Your login, your settings, and any active subscription carry over as-is. There is nothing to transfer, migrate, or repurchase.
- The same team. The people building and running the service are the same people who built Bolt VPN. Support, updates, and the roadmap continue without interruption.

Why the New Name
The move to GLOBEX VPN is about growing into a clearer, more global brand and giving the product a name and identity we can build on for the long term. It is a branding and identity change, plain and simple — the technology and the priorities behind it stay the same.
What You Need to Do: Nothing
For existing users, there is no action required. The update rolls out through the normal app-update process, and once it arrives your app becomes GLOBEX VPN automatically. Your connection, your account, and your subscription keep working right through the transition.
